Noric AI
Quick Start
Get your first Noric grid running in under five minutes — Noric AI handles each cell with its own agent and context.
Noric is the spreadsheet product; Noric AI is what powers generation in each cell — one agent per cell, with sources and confidence where applicable. The steps below walk you from signup to your first processed grid.
Step 1: Sign up and reach the home screen
After signing up, you'll land on your home screen. This shows your five most recently opened grids at the top for quick access, and your Projects below. You can create a new grid directly from here.
Step 2: Create a grid
Click New Grid in the top area of the home screen or in the left sidebar. You'll be asked to:
- Start blank — an empty grid you configure from scratch
- Use a template — a pre-built structure with example prompts already filled in (great if you're new)
- Import spreadsheet — upload an Excel or CSV file to create a grid with columns and rows pre-populated
Give your grid a clear name like "Competitor Research" or "Lead Enrichment Q1."
Step 3: Add your rows
Each row represents one item — a company, a person, a topic. Click + Add row at the bottom of the grid to add rows. Start by typing a name or identifier in the first column — this gives it something to work with.
You can add as many rows as you need before processing. Most people add all their rows first, then configure columns, then process everything in one go.
Step 4: Configure an AI column
Click on a column header to open its settings panel on the right side of the screen. The key field is AI Prompt — write in plain English what you want found or generated for this column:
Find the company's founding year.
Summarize what this company does in one sentence.
Find the company's LinkedIn page URL.
You can reference other columns using @:
Based on @Company Name, write a short cold-email subject line.
Set the Format Type to match the kind of output you expect — Number, Text, URL, Checkbox, etc. This makes your data cleaner and more structured.
Step 5: Process the grid
Click the Process button in the toolbar. Every row and AI column combination is worked through in order. Results stream in as they're ready — you don't have to wait for the entire grid to finish before you start reviewing.
Cells show a spinner while they're being generated. When done, the content appears and stays until you manually change it or regenerate it.
Step 6: Review, edit, and export
- Click any cell to read the full content or edit it manually — or right-click for Additional information (reasoning, sources, and confidence in the right sidebar), Regenerate, or Delete row when you have rows selected
- Hover over an AI-generated cell to see its confidence score and sources
- Use the thumbs up / thumbs down on a cell to give feedback
- Click Export in the toolbar to download your grid as an Excel file
